Gouves is a village on the north coast of Crete. Located between Gournes and Ascension, 18 kilometers east of Heraklion capital. In fact it is more of a range  of villas than a village. It also consists of several villages: Kato Gouves (down to the beaches) and the oldest traditional village of Pano Gouves, located at a higher level.
